Disney Digital Entertainment is looking for aProducer IIto join us on an ambitious and exciting project. If you are an imaginative creator with superb game development skills, and have a love of Disney/Pixar, 20th Century, Marvel, and Lucasfilm properties, you'll want to check out this opportunity! We are building an experienced development team that will help create groundbreaking game experiences that will herald the next generation of Disney to the world. Working with top-class industry talent, this role is perfect for the seasoned game developer looking to create something epic, collaborating with a robust group of developers focusing on individual experiences to create a wonderfully rich and cohesive product that is truly "Disney".

This is a remote opportunity reporting to our Sr. Manager, Production.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a cross-functional team to bring interactive experiences to life
  • Maintain and track the feature team's schedule using project management tools
  • Own key rituals on the team such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and playtests
  • Remove blockers and keep everyone aligned and motivated
  • Serve as a key collaborator and communicator within the development team, providing crucial problem-solving and organizational expertise
  • Engage with internal and external partners, including other production leaders, to plan, coordinate, and track development across the entire experience.
  • Champion the production vision for the project within Disney, working with various internal partners to coordinate asset and brand approvals
  • Drive the completion of goals and facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across the team

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 years of experience specifically in product development/production of Console/Mobile/PC games or other entertainment
  • Possess a deep understanding of high-quality game development, including a strong familiarity with various project management methodologies and tools
  • Excel at building strong relationships, working through challenging problems, and reaching consensus to achieve great things
  • Have contributed to the creation and release of a successful AAA live-operated game in a production role and have familiarity with producing products on various gaming platforms
  • Enjoy creative problem solving, working through unique development challenges, and building something new and innovative
  • Love learning new things, are calm under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Expertise in Jira, Excel, Confluence, Airtable, Miro and other asset management software
  • Shipped at least one mobile, console, and/or PC games with live operations components

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

The hiring range for this remote position is $105,100-$140,900 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
