Job description

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources 

Role

As a TenarisUniversity / Training Internship (internal title: Tenaris University Trainee), you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs aligned with business needs and employee development plans, while contributing to the delivery of engaging and effective learning experiences through program implementation and follow-up.

This is a Temporary Part-Time role

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies training gaps by working closely with industrial and operations areas,  analyzing KPIs, and following massive training campaigns.
  • Identifies and negotiates with competent trainers to facilitate the learning process; choosing between internal and external trainers to provide training according to organizational needs demand.
  • Coordinates the logistics required for training events to ensure their optimum performance; communicating with the trainer and participants, drafting and sending invitations, ensuring rooms are set up, etc.
  • Carries out the evaluation of training activities; establishes controls to measure the performance of all personnel involved and evaluates the benefits of it.
  • Updates the information regarding the staff training progress, prepares reports for internal management and corporate decision making.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

Qualifictaions 

  • Working toward or recently completed a postsecondary degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field; candidates currently pursuing their studies with a strong interest in learning and development are encouraged to apply.
  • Good knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI.
  • Detail oriented, with strong follow-up and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities.

Schedule & Working Conditions:

  • 6month part-time contract (20 hours per week) with potential for extension
  • Preferred schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment within a steel manufacturing facility

Compensation

The hourly range for this role is $24.00-$33.50 / hour.   

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
