AGENCY OVERVIEW:

Jewish Family and Children's Services (JFCS) has served the San Francisco Bay Area for 175 years. POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Data Operations Manager, this position provides administrative support for the Development and Marketing Department, ensuring data integrity for effective fundraising efforts. The Development Data Processor supports the achievement of program, operational, and budget goals by carrying out assigned responsibilities in alignment with the mission and objectives of Jewish Family and Children's Services. This role operates within the established policies and procedures, and available resources of the Agency and ensures that all responsibilities are performed in compliance with agency standards and policies, applicable federal, state, and local regulations, documentation requirements, and licensing or regulatory standards where applicable.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • Pay Range: $35.90 - $38.46/hr (depending on experience)
  • Employment Type: full-time, non-exempt position with benefits
  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite at our San Francisco office
  • Employer 403(b) retirement match plus additional employer contribution (subject to eligibility)

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform timely, accurate data entry and updates including gift, donor and other information
  • Produce and edit acknowledgment letters, receipts, tribute cards and envelopes
  • Contribute to maintaining organized digital and physical systems including file and project management
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on gift, donor, and other data
  • Build, edit, and distribute standard and ad hoc reports using Salesforce and other systems
  • Review and clean up data to import and/or export in spreadsheets and in Salesforce
  • Provide timely and collaborative responses to colleagues regarding data questions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in or a related field
  • A minimum of two years of experience in data processing in a high-volume data entry environment and accurate keying of data is required
  • The person in this position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with JFCS employees, clients, and vendors and therefore must be able to exchange accurate information in varying situations
  • Must have intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, especially templates and merges
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or other fundraising database software desirable
  • Familiarity with the functions and features of Zoom and/or other streaming platforms
