Job Summary:

We are seeking a Summer Intern to join our team for a valuable hands-on learning experience. The internship will provide exposure to various aspects of our business and an opportunity to work on real projects that make an impact.

#1-Develop a plating knowledge database from the recent research for plating conversions at our key customers that will provide a valuable cross reference for ST engineering and quoting groups. Help develop descriptions and description methodology for our part database to be used in the SAP conversion.
#2-Review of current control plans and PFMEA to ensure that standards are being followed and met. Assist with customer complaint process, use BI Reports to audit information and make process improvement recommendations, develop corrective action tracer in smart sheets and assist in the creation of work instructions.

End of internship:

#1-Presentation of Equipment and testing knowledge gained. Key Customer surface treatment matrix. Web catalog additions for new commodities.
#2- Analysis of customer/supplier rejections, identify themes and actions needed to drive improvements, improvement the QMS with new work instructions.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Quality Engineering) as a rising Junior or Senior

- Strong academic performance

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work well in a team

- Eagerness to learn and contribute

- Basic understanding of the industry

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects

- Assist with research, data analysis, and presentation preparation

- Participate in meetings and contribute ideas

- Take on additional tasks and projects as needed

- Learn about industry and company operations through hands-on experience

Duration:

This internship position will last throughout the summer months, with a flexible start and end date to accommodate academic schedules.
