Job description

Company Description
SeatSwap provides the premier inter-active marketplace for user to trade event tickets with one another. The company aims to revolutionize the secondary ticketing market and provide a user-friendly interface that makes trading tickets fun and easy. SeatSwap is currently expanding and is gearing up for its beta launch in the coming months.
Job Description
SeatSwap, the web's premier ticket trading destination is looking for a couple of passionate and creative interns to join our team as we continue to live out our mission of getting more fans of getting more fans to the event they love right here in the live event capital of the world, New York City.
We're going to have to ask you to excuse us for throwing what sounds like a "buzzword" at you but if you're not quite sure what growth hacking is, we'll save you a Google search. At its essence, growth hacking is an exercise in finding and reaching large groups of people using a slew of different strategies, ranging from the mundane and mechanical to the more sophisticated technical solutions. Sure that description can be easily confused with a "run of the mill" marketing position but growth hacking entails so much more than that, growth hackers need to have the people finding and tracking abilities of a CIA Analyst, the concise persuasiveness of a master salesman, and the intuition/creativity of a Ninja Viral/Guerrilla Marketer.
We realize that this may sound like a tall order but what we're specifically looking for is someone who, at their very core is an irrational, stand outside for three hours in the cold, skip school/work to be able to get the first stab at presale tickets fan who knows what it means to be there and can communicate that same unwavering passion to his or her fellow fans. You can definitely say that, as far as we're concerned (and apologies for the cliche) "It take one to know one" and because your main target will be fans and avid event goers of all shapes, sizes, creeds, and allegiances it is of utmost importance to already have a sense of your subject and what it means to be a fan. Aside from being a flag-waving lunatic, prime candidates for this internship will have a nice mix of skills/experience that includes social media savvy, experience with online analytics tools or SEO, the ability to craft a persuasive cold email or direct message to a complete stranger, and a love of kicking around wacky ideas to find creative solutions to the problems and questions unapologetically disruptive start-ups face on a daily basis.
If you feel you fit the description then we challenge you to prove it in any way you see fit and don't be afraid to be "over the top" but if you're looking for less vague instructions, send along a personal note in addition to a resume, links to relevant projects, and anything else that would make our decision easier to info @ seatswaptickets.com.
Best of Luck.
