Job Description:
I’m reaching out regarding an Engine Control Systems Engineer opportunity in Chillicothe, Illinois. This is a full-time engineering position focused on the design, development, simulation, and validation of engine control strategies for large power systems.
 
Skills & Experience:
  • Engine control systems development
  • Dynamic feedback and classical control theory
  • MATLAB/Simulink
  • GT-Power engine modeling
  • Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) simulation and verification
  • Vector CANape / CAN data analysis
  • MIMO control systems
  • Digital signal processing and filter design
  • Engine testing and validation
  • Embedded systems and logical controls
  • Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
  • Experience with gas, diesel, or dual-fuel engines is highly preferred
  • Experience with engine aftertreatment/emissions controls is a plus
 Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering is required.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering is highly preferred.
