Job description

Salem Media Group has an immediate opening for a part-time technical producer/board-operator position.


Technical Producer duties include running the studio control room board, and livestream video switcher, completion of internal paperwork (program logs, transmitter logs, discreps), isolating audio for show promos, being proactive when problems occur, and client relations.

Experience with Wide Orbit Automation and Adobe Audition is preferred!

Must have flexible schedule and be available to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. 


  • A minimum of one year of major market broadcast experience, preferably in a spoken word format.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • A self-starter approach to your work.
  • Knowledge of video editing and social media would be beneficial.
  • Flexibility is a must! 
  • Availability for overnights and weekends. 
  • Strong track record, detailed oriented, prompt and dependable.
