Experience a diverse, multinational workplace where your operational insights directly influence how we work.

  • Opportunity to shape financial strategy for a critical port operation within a global logistics network
  • Exposure to joint venture governance and direct engagement with board members and shareholders
  • Leadership of high-impact CAPEX, digitalization, and transformation initiatives
  • A collaborative environment balancing strategic influence with operational execution

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategy to ensure profitability, risk mitigation, and long-term financial strength
  • Partner with the Managing Director/CEO and Senior Management Team to drive strategic planning and performance outcomes
  • Oversee financial operations, including reporting, tax, audit, compliance, and adherence to regulatory frameworks

  • Manage CAPEX programs, including investment planning, financial modelling, and governance of large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Represent APM Terminals in joint venture governance, including board engagement and shareholder communication
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes, reporting accuracy, cost management, and digital transformation

What We Are Looking For

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement - someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day
  • 15+ years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a multinational organization
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, U.S. tax regulations, compliance frameworks, and corporate governance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience managing large CAPEX programs and complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, including boards, shareholders, and cross-functional leaders
  • Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Spanish and/or French is advantageous

Leadership & Stakeholder Impact

  • Act as a strategic business partner across Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and HR functions
  • Prepare and present board-level materials, engaging regularly with directors, shareholders, and JV partners
  • Lead finance teams across locations, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and development
  • Drive capability building through coaching, training, and implementation of modern financial systems and analytics
