Internship concert tour crew positions are entry-level roles designed for students or recent graduates interested in the live music industry. These internships allow individuals to work alongside experienced tour professionals, assisting with tasks such as stage setup, sound checks, equipment transport, and backstage support during concert tours. The goal is to provide hands-on experience in the fast-paced environment of live events, helping interns learn about production, logistics, and teamwork. These roles are ideal for those looking to build a career in concert production, tour management, or related fields.

What types of tasks and responsibilities can I expect as an intern on a concert tour crew?

As an intern on a concert tour crew, you can expect to assist with a wide variety of tasks, including setting up and breaking down equipment, supporting sound and lighting technicians, managing artist hospitality, and helping with logistics such as load-in and load-out at venues. You'll often work long hours in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with experienced crew members and other interns. This hands-on experience provides valuable insight into the technical and organizational aspects of live event production, and it's a great way to build industry contacts and learn about potential career paths in concert touring.
