Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Clinical Lab Scientist, you will be instrumental in unraveling medical mysteries, providing crucial diagnostic insights that directly impact patient treatment and recovery.
Every day, you will perform complex technical analyses across various laboratory disciplines, meticulously verifying results for accuracy and quality assurance. You will operate and maintain sophisticated instrumentation and collaborate closely with laboratory leadership to uphold the highest standards of practice and patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a profound dedication to scientific accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure while working as a critical component of the patient care team.
  • Demonstrates competency in age-specific patient testing for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Properly identifies patient, sample, and/or result and maintains sample integrity throughout the analytical and reporting process.
  • Performs technical procedures accurately, correlating technical data and evaluating results for reasonableness, and maintaining required documentation.

Job Requirements
Required
  • Bachelor degree in biological science, or US military equivalent
  • 1 year Internship in a hospital clinical laboratory
  • California Clinical Lab Scientist License
