A general all-round knowledge of network security with HW/SW experience working with Cisco, checkpoint , F5 devices and vendor support.


Cisco and Arista Switches, 

Understand and troubleshoot STP, Ether channels, switchports, syslogs

Monitoring health Stats


Cisco Router

Understand and troubleshoot Routing, Syslogs, ACLs, HSRP

Monitoring health Stats


Cisco ASA

Understand how a VPN is setup and comfortable troubleshooting site to site VPNs (ie. Clear VPNs tunnels, monitoring VPN stats, logs etc)

Policy and image management,

Contexts 

Logging,

NATs, 

Troubleshoot Failover and Failover Groups 

Monitoring health Stats


Cisco and SourceFire IPS

Ability to monitor real-time IPS logs. 

Troubleshoot connection issues through the IPS. 

Block suspect IPs, Whitelist trusted IPs
