What is an internship church accounting position?

Internship church accounting positions are entry-level roles where students or recent graduates gain practical experience in managing the financial records of a church or religious organization. Interns often help prepare financial reports for church leadership and may participate in audits or donor contribution tracking. You'll likely work closely with both accounting staff and ministry leaders, gaining insight into unique aspects of non-profit and faith-based financial management. This hands-on experience provides a strong foundation for understanding fund accounting and the specific compliance requirements of religious organizations.
