Job description

The Senior Procurement Process Analyst is responsible for documenting, evaluating, improving, and scaling procurement and supply chain processes across the organization. This role will work closely with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Project Controls teams to establish standardized procedures, implement best practices, and drive process consistency as the company continues to grow.

This is a highly hands-on role that requires both strategic thinking and execution. The successful candidate will lead process mapping efforts, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), identify process improvement opportunities, and support implementation of scalable procurement practices. The ideal candidate has successfully built and documented procurement or supply chain processes in a fast-paced manufacturing, industrial, construction, or capital project environment.

In addition to process excellence responsibilities, this role will actively support procurement operations and strategic sourcing activities. The Senior Procurement Process Analyst will assist with supplier relationship management, sourcing events, request for proposal (RFP) administration, contract and supplier onboarding processes, procure-to-pay (P2P) workflows, and procurement governance initiatives.

Essential FunctionsKey ResponsibilitiesProcess Documentation & Improvement
  • Document current-state and future-state procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process maps, workflows, and RACI matrices.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
  • Establish governance and controls to ensure compliance with procurement policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cycle time reduction, and operational effectiveness.
Strategic Sourcing Support
  • Assist in the development, publication, administration, and evaluation of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Coordinate sourcing activities and support supplier selection processes.
  • Partner with category managers and business stakeholders during sourcing initiatives.
  • Maintain sourcing documentation, bid tabulations, and supplier records.
  • Support contract administration and supplier onboarding activities.
Supplier Relationship Management
  • Support supplier performance management and supplier scorecard programs.
  • Assist with supplier communications, issue resolution, and relationship management activities.
  • Maintain supplier master data and supporting documentation.
  • Participate in supplier business reviews and performance tracking initiatives.
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Operations
  • Support procurement workflows from requisition through purchase order issuance and receipt.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement transaction efficiency and controls.
  • Assist with implementation and optimization of ERP and procurement systems.
  • Support reporting and analytics related to procurement performance, compliance, and spend management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Project Controls teams to align processes and improve workflow effectiveness.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather process requirements.
  • Support change management and user adoption of new procurement processes and tools.
  • Develop training materials and conduct process training sessions as needed.
Preferred QualificationsJob Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, business analysis, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
  • Experience documenting and implementing business processes and SOPs.
  • Working knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procure-to-pay processes.
  • Experience supporting RFP, RFQ, and supplier evaluation activities.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP, sourcing, contract management, or procurement systems.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, construction, or capital project experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Working Environment Conditions/Requirements
  • Hybrid (4 days in 1 day remote) from the ATL office.
