The Durham Bulls are seeking a talented, driven, and visually minded individual to lead the concept, production, and delivery of all video content across the Durham Bulls organization. From high-energy promotional hype reels to in-game videoboard packages to sponsor deliverables and social media content, this role owns every frame of video that represents the Bulls brand.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity and execution, collaborating with marketing, corporate partnerships, community relations, and game presentation to ensure every video asset, whether a 15-second social clip or a four-minute opening day hype film, is delivered on time, on brand, and at the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Video Production & Creative Development

  • Lead the creative vision, planning, production, editing, and delivery of all Durham Bulls video content.
  • Produce high-quality promotional videos, hype reels, player features, season recaps, theme night content, organizational messaging, and in-game entertainment packages.
  • Develop compelling visual storytelling that strengthens the Durham Bulls brand and enhances the fan experience.
  • Shoot and edit video content for baseball games, special events, community appearances, player features, and organizational initiatives.
  • Create engaging short-form video content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms.

  • Organize and maintain all raw footage, project files, and completed video assets for future use.
  • Maintain video production equipment, cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and media storage while ensuring all equipment remains production-ready.

Ticket Sales & Marketing Support

  • Produce video assets supporting season ticket campaigns, group sales initiatives, suite sales, mini plans, and promotional campaigns.
  • Create video content for digital advertising, email marketing, website promotions, and organizational communications.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop campaigns that drive attendance, engagement, and brand awareness.

Corporate Partnerships

  • Produce sponsor fulfillment videos, commercial spots, branded content, and partnership deliverables in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Partnerships to develop creative concepts that maximize sponsor visibility and value.

Game Presentation

  • Produce and deliver videoboard content, player introductions, walk-up videos, countdowns, transitions, entertainment features, and promotional elements.
  • Work closely with the Game Presentation team to ensure all content is properly formatted, tested, and integrated into the live game presentation.
  • Build and maintain a library of evergreen video assets for use throughout the season.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Film, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of professional video production experience within sports, entertainment, media, or an agency environment.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with demonstrated experience editing high-quality content under tight deadlines.
  • Experience operating DSLR and/or mirrorless camera systems for both studio and field production.
  • Experience with lighting, audio recording, and on-location production techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Passion for storytelling, sports, and creating engaging fan experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:
