We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARYThe Sales Director is responsible for driving tournament sales by recruiting teams, building relationships with baseball and softball organizations, and supporting business growth through strategic sales efforts. This role works collaboratively with internal teams and key external partners to maximize participation and revenue.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Develop and lead the sales strategy in alignment with the venue's overall business planDrive tournament sales by recruiting teams and supporting their experience before, during, and after eventsCommunicate the venue's tournament experience effectively to teams, coaches, parents, leagues, clubs, and other baseball and softball organizationsBuild and maintain relationships with teams, coaches, parents, leagues, clubs, Ballparks Ambassadors, and other key contacts to support tournament participation and business growthSupport and coordinate regional sales staff across the United StatesMaintain accurate contacts, sales activity, and communication history in the CRM in accordance with established proceduresPrepare weekly pipeline and sales activity reports for senior leadership and the clientParticipate in sales meetings by contributing ideas, sharing trends, completing action plans, and recommending process improvementsSupport the hiring, training, and development of sales team membersRepresent the venue at trade shows, community meetings, and industry events to build relationships and support business developmentStay current on industry trends, venue activity, and competitor activity within baseball and softballProtect confidential informationPerform other duties as assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience in sales, business development, or the hospitality industryMinimum of 6 years of sales experience, preferably in events, hospitality, or sports/recreation - sales experience in travel baseball preferredAt least 3 years of experience managing a sales team or departmentProven success in booking and executing a variety of events including corporate functions, banquets, tournaments, and community eventsExperience creating and executing marketing and sponsorship plansFamiliarity with regional events and tourism organizations Strong knowledge of sales techniques and CRM toolsExceptional time management, organization, and interpersonal skillsCustomer-first mindset with strong leadership abilitiesTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Travel up to 60% of time if not located in Branson, MOWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Expected to work varied hoursMust be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for long periods of timeMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time both indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent noise
