Job description

SUMMARY: Prepares human resource documents, records statistics and handles confidential material in the Human Resources department. Answers general questions and inquiries in all areas of Human Resources, including compensation, benefits, and recruiting. Performs other related duties as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with employee onboarding logistics.
Prepares new employee files.
Assists with the recruitment process by scheduling candidate interviews.
Assists with employee recognition program logistics.
Assists in the planning and executing of employee event logistics.
Coordinates logistics related to the internship programs.
Assists with general report requests.
Assists in generating and preparing documentation for audit requests.
Responds and follows up on invoice inquiries.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records in both physical and digital format.
Responsible for Personnel Change forms preparation.
Assists with preparing and distributing merit increase approval forms and letters for the annual performance evaluation process.
Assists with the preparation and distribution of the annual code of conduct & ethics acknowledgments.
Assists with the execution of training initiatives.
Assists in coordinating training dates, times, and location when requested.
Responds to general employee inquiries.
Completes monthly updates to the organization chart.
Completes monthly updates to the bank-wide calling tree.
Orders and maintains all departmental supplies.
Serves as payroll back-up for the Human Resources Generalist.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree, minimum two years of previous human resources experience. Basic knowledge of Human Resources laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. HR experience in banking industry is a plus. PC proficient, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
