The New York Practice Liaison will play a significant role in the development of sales strategies, supporting tactics, and engage with related personnel that will add to new patient and cycle growth for Illume Fertility. The candidate is responsible for achieving high awareness, stimulating high usage and retention of Illume's fertility services through effective ambassadorship, promotion, and communication of differentiating treatment features and benefits, while quickly leveraging competitive opportunities, expertly navigating and taking ownership of geographic locations (NY counties - Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Ulster+ with some travel to CT including visits to head office in Norwalk), and maximizing success given an array of market factors. In addition, this person will work closely with and report to the Director of Marketing and Sales to ensure assigned targets and metrics are achieved consistently, both referring and internal providers' needs are met and exceeded, and messaging across all initiatives are unified and thoroughly executed in the highest professional manner.
Candidate will largely be responsible for driving referral growth from a specific, but not limited, set of professional healthcare accounts (OBGYN's, oncologists, urologists, primary care physicians and practitioners), with an emphasis
on inclusive care and sensitivity to the needs of all patients seeking family building options and treatment. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Sales, who will also determine and enforce territory alignments.
The ideal candidate will possess creative and astute problem-solving skills, demonstrate excellent communication and highly professional business acumen, and exude strong leadership while focusing on the individualistic nature of our core mission, serving our local communities with compassion and care throughout their family building journeys. The candidate must be able to coordinate activity as necessary with all key Illume staff including partners, employee physicians, nurses, embryologists, human resources, legal, accounting, clinical and marketing, and others critical to effective business development and enhancement of the patient treatment cycle and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Development
• Maximize internal and external sales and marketing opportunities
• Day-to-day strategy implementation, monitor and report effectiveness and impact
• Maintain relationships with high volume existing referral sources, establish new connections yielding value and growth
• Leverage value-added opportunities to drive differentiation and expansion
• Work collaboratively with industry (national, regional and local community networks & centers) for mutual benefit
Market Analysis and Product Management
• Monitor utilization, market share, demographic trends, customer satisfaction
• Understand services, products, features, benefits of different ART (assisted reproductive technology) procedures
Qualifications, Requirements, Compensation
Education: Bachelor's Degree + 5-7 years of relevant sales and marketing experience
Experience: 2-3 years healthcare sales, 2-3 years marketing
Technical: Strong oral, written, and presentation skills. Fluent with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as other pharmaceutical/healthcare reporting platforms and systems, EMRs/CRMs
Travel: 25% non-local and local to industry events and conferences.
Compensation: Base salary, quarterly bonus, car and phone allowance, health benefits
