What are Production Design Interns?

Production Design Interns are entry-level team members who assist the production design department in creating the visual look and feel of a film, television show, commercial, or stage production. Their responsibilities typically include supporting the design team with research, organizing materials, creating models or sketches, and helping with set construction or decoration. Interns gain hands-on experience by working closely with experienced production designers and art directors, learning about the creative process and technical aspects of visual storytelling. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build a portfolio and develop skills in art and design within the entertainment industry.
