The Services Social Marketing team is seeking an Owned Social Strategist to build and launch an all-new organic social marketing strategy for the App Store.

This role involves overseeing owned and operated channels, collaborating with partner channels, and translating marketing priorities into clever, engaging social executions. The ideal candidate is a highly autonomous social media expert who understands the app developer world, knows how to effectively leverage social to tell impactful stories, and cultivates deeply engaged audiences.
Description
Spearhead an entirely new organic social strategy for the App Store, bringing marketing priorities to life through clever and innovative ideation.
Map all social efforts back to clear measurement frameworks, delivering actionable reporting and insights to key stakeholders.
Develop social-first concepts, campaigns, and programs that feed into App Store owned social channels.
Work with multiple cross-functional teams on planning and executing integrated campaigns and projects on social.
Evangelize social best practices to educate cross-functional teams and stakeholders, internally and externally.
Demonstrate thought leadership and perspective around best-in-class social trends, ideas, and strategy for key marketing moments.
Identify and integrate AI optimizations into daily workflows to improve efficiency, while fiercely protecting the authentic, human voice of our content.
Lead social briefings for campaigns, formats, and initiatives with a third party agency.
Provide hands-on support for programming and publishing, as needed, across owned social channels.
Manage agency relationships.
On-call nights and weekends as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years experience in digital/social marketing in the social media space.
3+ years managing agencies and vendors.
Deep understanding of the app developer ecosystem and the unique culture, challenges, and triumphs of app creation.
Self-starter who thrives working autonomously while navigating ambiguity with confidence.
Meticulous attention to detail in both strategic planning and tactical execution of all customer-facing communications from App Store social channels.
Proven ability to map social initiatives to measurable KPIs and present data-driven insights to key stakeholders.
Experience working directly with creators, talent, and other external partners to collaborate on social marketing efforts.
Ability to understand and use data to inform strategic decisions, including audience insights, platform trends, content performance benchmarks, social listening, etc.
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
Experience collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Ability to juggle multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
Experience working with high-profile talent on high-stakes projects.
