GIS Analyst
ASR International is seeking a GIS Analyst to develop, maintain, and support geospatial databases, maps, and CADD/GIS products for 50 CES at Schriever SFB.   • Develop and maintain geospatial databases, applications, and tools for architectural, engineering, and base management use.
  • Create and revise maps, charts, and cartographic products from source materials, aerial photography, drafting, digitizing, and editing.
  • Display and analyze geographic data related to land use, infrastructure, demographics, transportation, and the Base Comprehensive Plan.
  • Update and coordinate CADD/GIS data (maps, real estate, engineering) and advise on tools and techniques.
  • Maintain current and historic infrastructure information used for planning and asset management.
Minimum Qualifications (per PWS)
  • Associate’s degree in science; OR at least 2 years of experience in a technical field; AND
  • Extensive knowledge of geospatial concepts, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Basic understanding of cartography, remote sensing, and scientific data visualization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Esri ArcGIS / GeoBase experience on a DoD installation.
  • Experience integrating CAD and GIS datasets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, geospatial science, or related field.
