Job description

Multimedia / Motion Designer that will create motion graphics and video content that support key communication initiatives. This role works closely with the Senior Lead Graphic Designer and content owners across business units to execute projects. The Multimedia/Motion Designer develops both internal and external animations and videos that align with and reinforce the corporate brand, collaborating within a team environment in the Corporate Communications Department. This is a hybrid role with flexible work arrangements.
Essential Functions

  • Familiarity with directing and recording voice over audio.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support critical timed messaging.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Create compelling motion graphics and video content for digital, social, web, and internal channels
  • Concept, storyboard, design, and execute video and animation projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with creative and communication teams to translate ideas into high-impact visual storytelling
  • Edit video footage, add motion graphics, sound design, and color correction to produce polished final assets
  • Develop animations for brand campaigns, product launches, and thought leadership content
  • Maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines across all motion and video work
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality standards
  • Optimize video content for various platforms (social media, web, presentations, events)
  • Stay current on motion design trends, tools, and emerging technologies
  • Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and campaign development

Experience

  • 3 5 years of experience in an agency or in-house creative department as part of a multimedia or graphic design team (including co-ops and internships)
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools, including Adobe Animate, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects
  • Strong understanding of technical terminology within the multimedia and social media landscape
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with video recording best practices in a studio environment
