Job description

We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager to join the US Sports Marketing team, focused on driving the rapid growth and expansion of local sports channels on Prime Video. This is a critical moment in the sports rights industry and Prime Video is positioned to offer the best experience for customers seeking access to their favorite regional teams. In this role, you will lead owned and operated (O&O) marketing execution across Amazon surfaces to drive awareness, subscriptions, and viewership for our growing portfolio of local sports channels. You will manage end-to-end campaign execution from conception through launch, ensuring flawless delivery across a rapidly expanding slate of channel partners.
This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset with a strong foundation in performance marketing, growth marketing, and experimentation. You will own the development and optimization of audience targeting, campaign measurement, and A/B testing to maximize subscription growth, reduce churn, and drive live event tune-in. Given the unique cadence of live sports and the localized nature of the content, this function serves as the subject matter expert for local sports channels across all cross-functional teams and shared services related to O&O marketing within Prime Video.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end O&O marketing campaigns for local sports channel launches on Prime Video, from strategy development through execution.
• Procure and manage marketing placements across Prime Video Storefront, Amazon.com, Fire TV, and mobile push notifications as outlined in each channel's GTM strategy.
• Develop and execute a performance marketing framework focused on subscription growth, retention (churn reduction), and live event viewership as northstar metrics.
• Collaborate with the GTM lead and BI team to build, refine, and optimize audience targeting and segmentation strategies, leveraging local market and sports affinity signals.
• Design and manage a rigorous experimentation roadmap (A/B and multivariate testing) to continuously optimize placement performance, messaging, and creative.
• Track, measure, and report on campaign performance, translating data into actionable insights and sharing learnings with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify and activate new marketing levers, tactics, and channel opportunities to accelerate local sports channel growth beyond established playbooks.
• Partner with channel partners, business development, content, product, and engineering teams to align on launch goals, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across a growing portfolio.
About the team
Prime Video has a vast selection of live and on demand sports content including Thursday Night Football, NBA, WNBA, and more. The Sports Marketing team is charged with creating world-class marketing campaigns to deliver this growing portfolio of live sports content to Amazon customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience with employing marketing strategies to acquire new customers, nurture leads, drive adoption and accelerate growth
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience creating and delivering written and oral communications for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with performance marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or digital advertising
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the sports, streaming, tech, or entertainment industries
- Familiarity with regional sports networks (RSNs), local sports media, or sports rights landscape
- Experience with subscription or retention-focused marketing (reducing churn, increasing LTV)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
