Description
We are seeking a high-caliber
FP&A Intern to join our Finance team. This role is designed for top-performing students with exceptional analytical ability, advanced Excel modeling skills, and a demonstrated capacity to work with large, complex datasets.
You will work directly with the CFO and senior leadership on high-impact initiatives, contributing to financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic decision support for presentations to the company CEO.

The opportunity to transition into a full-time position after 3-4 months is based on performance and business needs. **
What You'll Do:
- Build robust financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and business planning
- Analyze large-scale financial and operational datasets to identify key drivers and trends
- Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
- Develop dynamic Excel-based tools and dashboards (PivotTables, Power Query, dynamic budgeting templates, and advanced formulas)
- Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and performance reporting cycles
- Present findings and recommendations to Finance leadership, including the CFO and CEO

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- A top academic performer with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a quantitative discipline
- Proven ability to efficiently work with large datasets (100k+ rows) and maintain data integrity
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas)
- Strong financial and analytical acumen with a structured, hypothesis-driven approach
- High intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and an ownership mindset
- Clear and professional communication skills
- A commitment to report to work Monday-Friday at our Schertz, TX corporate office.
- The desire to transition to a permanent role upon satisfactory completion of the internship.
Position Demands:
This position requires sitting, bending, and stooping for up to 8 hours per day in an office setting. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 lbs. Ability to learn technical material. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, etc. The person in this position frequently communicates with guests, team members, and vendors and must be able to exchange accurate information.
