Job description

The A&S Interdisciplinary Science Cooperative'sTransformation Network Program is seeking a creative, detail-orientedMultimedia Assistant to help bring impactful stories to life throughdocumentary-style short films. This position is ideal for a student who ispassionate about visual storytelling and enjoys crafting compelling narrativesthrough video editing while working within established branding and productionguidelines.
The successful candidate will be able to balance directionfrom a mentor with independent initiative, manage multiple deadlines, maintainstrong organizational skills, and communicate effectively throughout theproduction process. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required, includingexperience with color correction, audio mixing, and integrating primary footageand b-roll into a cohesive and engaging story.
Applicants should have prior hands-on experience editingvideo projects in Adobe Premiere Pro and demonstrate an ability to transformraw footage into polished visual content that connects with audiences.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with tasks as needed based on the demands ofassigned project.
Willingness to learn, ability to take constructivedirection and apply feedback, excellent attention to detail.
Strong organizational, communication, and time managementskills
Work with various members of the research group, includingother undergraduate researchers, graduate researchers, and the PIs.
Meet with the PIs and other members of the team, asneeded, and check and respond to email and other messaging platforms on aconsistent basis.
