Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, need to log in to Workday via MyApps.Microsoft.com, then access Find Jobs from the Workday search bar to view and apply for open positions.

Summary of Job Duties:In support of Walton Career Connections, the Career and Internships Connections Coordinator provides coordination and administrative support for internships and broader career-related opportunities. This role supports the administration of academic internship courses, including oversight of the application and approval processes for BUSI 3100V - Internship and BUSI 3200V - International Internships. The Coordinator maintains internship-related content and resources across Career Connections platforms, ensuring accurate, timely, and student-centered information. The Coordinator also contributes to reporting efforts and continuous improvement of Career Connections initiatives. The Internship Coordinator will also assist in planning and executing events, programs, and official functions hosted by Career Connections.
Regular, non-disruptive, and reliable attendance is an essential job duty, as well as the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position will require office hours of 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with in-person support of programming/events during office hours and occasionally nights and weekends.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education

  • Experience providing administrative support in a professional office setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year experience working with students in higher education setting.

  • Experience in the field of career services and/or recruitment.

  • Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management system.

  • At least six months of higher education experience


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills

  • Strong computer skills in particular Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work independently and with collaborative teams.
