Title: Human Resources Generalist

Location: Novi, MI

Reports To: HR Manager

As a HR Generalist, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, develop your skills, and grow your career in the exciting world of human resources. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will support the company’s growth in the region by providing people excellence in overseeing all aspects of the Human Resource arena, supporting the HR team in the areas of recruiting, hiring, employee relations, payroll, on-boarding, and employee retention and engagement.


Your Mission/Job Functions


• Assist the HR Manager in carrying out responsibilities for all areas of the North America division.

• Take an active role in the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding.

• Work closely with the other HR Generalist on projects.

• Manage employee data in Workday as a Business Partner.

• Prepare monthly reporting for presentation internally and externally.

• Process payroll within ADP Workforce Now, including running payroll reports and submitting 401k contributions.

• Assist with the EOS summer and other internship programs.

•Assist with benefit programs and management.

• Enter new hire/termination changes in all HRIS systems, along with other personnel changes.

• Ensure adherence to all employment and labor laws and regulations.

• Assist with professional development initiatives.

• Process insurance forms/filings, including unemployment, workers compensation, auto claims, and employment verifications.

• Create initiatives to improve employee engagement and morale in fostering a strong EOS culture.

• Handle any ad-hoc projects as needed.


Your Talents/Qualifications


•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

•Workday and ADP experience is a plus.

•At least 3 years of experience in human resources related roles.

•Experience with Human Resources information systems as well as MS Office applications

.•Attention to detail is a must along with an ability for agile performance and multi-tasking capabilities.

•Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

•Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

•Professionalism and confidentiality are a must.

•Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across the organization within Human Resources regionally and globally.
