Job Description

Join our program supporting Airbnb’s Luxe program as a Home Consultant and help us uphold the exceptional quality and hospitality standards expected from the luxury homes in Airbnb’s Luxe offering.
As part of our Managed Services program, you will conduct in-person home assessments, document property conditions, capture photos, and provide detailed evaluation reports to support our luxury quality review process. Consultants typically complete home consultations in approximately 2 hours, with some variation depending on property size.
*Please note that this project operates on an as needed basis. Assignment volume may fluctuate throughout the duration of the program and is not guaranteed. Some weeks may have higher activity levels while others may be lighter depending on operational demand and market needs.
What you'll do:

  • Conduct in-person onsite home consultations and property evaluations
  • Capture high-quality photos and document property conditions
  • Complete structured assessment reports based on your independent expert evaluation of the properties using provided guidelines and templates
  • Maintain professional and responsive communication and interactions with Hosts
  • Coordinate scheduling and availability through MediaBox and email communication
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports following each consultation
Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Preferred but not required: background in hospitality, customer service, interior design, real estate, or related fields
  • Flexible schedule
  • You have reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to assigned locations
  • You own a phone or tablet that can be used to complete reports and upload photos
  • Amazing communication skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Tech-comfortable and able to complete reports via a stable internet connection
  • You are located within 1 hour driving distance from the job post location you are applying for

Additional Information

Compensation Structure
This opportunity offers compensation on a per-assignment basis. Candidates should propose their rate for reviewing and submitting a report for a 1-bedroom home.  Average base rates within this region generally fall between $75-$90 for a 1-bedroom property.  An additional $5 USD will be added for each additional bedroom, up to 8 bedrooms total.  
Base Compensation
Example:

  • 1 bedroom = your proposed base rate
  • 2 bedrooms = base rate + $5
  • 3 bedrooms = base rate + $10
  • Etc. up to 8 bedrooms (all house sizes above 8 bedrooms will receive the 8 bedroom rate)


Travel Compensation
In addition to the consultation fee, consultants will also receive  compensation for travel for each day they conduct an assessment at a predetermined rate based on the consultant's distance from the center of the zone they are assigned to.  Travel compensation will range from $5 - $92 depending on the zone and the candidate’s proximity to the assigned zone.
