DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Trade Controls Analyst,locatedinRaynham.
The Trade Controls Analyst plays a critical role in enabling compliant, uninterrupted global supply chain operations for DePuy Synthes. This role supports trade compliance activities across imports, exports, and global movements of medical devices and related materials. By ensuring adherence to U.S. and international trade regulations, this position helps protect patients, support business continuity, and mitigate regulatory and financial risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supportdaytodaytrade compliance operations, including import and export activities, classification, and documentation accuracy.

  • Assistwith product classification (HTS, ECCN) andcountryoforigindeterminations in alignment with global trade regulations.

  • Monitor and support compliance with U.S. and international trade laws, including export controls, sanctions, and customs requirements.

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and external brokers to resolve shipmentholds, customs issues, and trade compliance inquiries.

  • Maintain trade compliance records and support internal audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.

  • Assistin screening customers, suppliers, and transactions against restrictedpartyand denied party lists.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to trade compliance processes, systems, and controls.

  • Prepare reports, metrics, and documentation to support compliance monitoring and leadership reviews.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degreerequired(Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, or related field).

  • Advanced degree or coursework in international trade or compliance preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Experience supporting trade compliance, import/export operations, or global supply chain activities.

  • Working knowledge of trade regulations (e.g., customs, export controls, sanctions).

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage documentation and compliance records accurately.

  • Ability to analyze data,identifyrisks, and escalate compliance concerns appropriately.

  • Hands-on SAP GTS experience working directly within SAP GTShandlinglegal regulationsand block resolution.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Excel and standard business systems.
