Job description

 SAIC is seeking a Tableau Developer to support the LANDMARK AOS program in Chantilly, VA. LANDMARK AOS is SAIC's  large Prime SETA program supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED).

All candidates must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI with Poly to be considered for the position.

As the Tableau Developer, you will combine handson Tableau development with systemsengineering advisory expertise to deliver missionimpactful visual analytics across the customer's Ground Enterprise. You will collaborate with system engineers, mission stakeholders, data owners, and development teams to design new dashboards, enhance existing ones, and provide technical insights that enable seniorleader decisionadvantage.

This role requires a blend of deep dashboardbuilding skills, dataanalysis proficiency, and the ability to support enterpriselevel data visualization strategies in a SETA environment. Your work will enhance data quality, analytic rigor, and operational awareness for Government leadership.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Design, develop, and deploy new Tableau dashboards that provide mission, programmatic, and technical insights across the Ground Enterprise.
  • Enhance and maintain existing dashboards, improving usability, accuracy, performance, and alignment with evolving Government priorities.
  • Assess and validate data sources, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and readiness for visualization.
  • Collaborate closely with Government stakeholders to gather analytic requirements and translate them into intuitive, highimpact visualizations and data flows.
  • Evaluate dashboard architecture and dependencies, providing SETA advisory recommendations to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Conduct data modeling, transformation, and integration tasks to support new visualizations and analytic workflows.
  • Perform testing, verification, regression checks, and quality assurance to ensure dashboards reflect accurate, missionaligned data.
  • Document dashboard logic, data pipelines, filters, calculations, and usage patterns to maintain analytic continuity.
  • Stay current with Tableau features, visualization best practices, and enterprise BI trends to guide capability enhancements.
  • Recommend improvements to strengthen analytic maturity, streamline reporting processes, and support leadership decisionmaking.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI with Poly to be considered for the position.
  • Two (2) years of handson Tableau dashboard development experience (design, build, publish, optimize).
  • Experience building dashboards for missiondriven or operational environments, ideally within Intelligence Community.
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation, modeling, and integration across diverse data sets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with relational databases and enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable insights.
  • Experience applying visualization best practices, cognitive design principles, or UI/UX techniques specific to analytic dashboards.
  • Ability to produce executivelevel visualizations and communicate analytic insights succinctly to senior leadership, technical, and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and crossteam coordination skills, particularly in fastpaced SETA environments.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to shifting priorities and evolving mission needs.
