Job description

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.


As The International Security Team Lead, you will provides senior leadership and coordination for visitor control support within an executive-level DoW SAP and SCI environment. This position supports a Government client and is responsible for overseeing visitor processing, access verification, visit certifications, visitor tracking, and related administrative and operational functions necessary to support secure facility operations in accordance with applicable Government requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead international security support activities and coordinate team execution across assigned mission requirements.
  • Support foreign participation, international visit coordination, classified access considerations, and other international security processes as directed by the Government.
  • Coordinate with Government personnel, international program stakeholders, and related security disciplines to support compliant execution of international security requirements.
  • Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of international security procedures, tracking tools, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide functional oversight of actions, priorities, and issues affecting international security mission support.
  • Support integration with foreign disclosure, export compliance, visitor control, and general security activities where mission requirements overlap.
  • Prepare updates, reports, and supporting documentation related to international security actions and deliverables.
  • Work independently and lead team performance in a fast-paced classified environment.

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline and 10 years of directly relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 14 years of directly related work experience.
  • Experience must include support to Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information environments
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across Government, contractor, and external stakeholders; prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence; and lead a team in fast paced classified environments.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; must be able to meet any applicable Special Access Program eligibility requirements identified by the Government.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $110,500.00/Yr. - USD $184,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
