  • Earnings and Profits / Tax Attribute Analysis: Analyze and review E&P, previously taxed earnings and profits, foreign tax credit, Subpart F, GILTI and related tax attribute calculations as relevant to client compliance and planning projects.
  • Withholding and Treaty Matters: Evaluate U.S. withholding tax obligations, reporting requirements and treaty positions, including documentation, characterization of payments and practical implementation for clients.
  • Inbound and Outbound Technical Issues: Address complex international tax questions arising from foreign investment into the United States, U.S. investment abroad, cross-border ownership structures, disregarded entities, partnerships and permanent establishment or branch considerations.
  • Research & Analysis: Delegate, manage and perform technical tax research to support compliance positions and client advice, translating complex rules into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Client Service and Project Management: Manage multiple engagements and deadlines across the practice, communicate directly with clients and internal teams, and help ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Team Development: Serve as a technical resource and mentor to staff and seniors, promoting knowledge-sharing, consistent execution and professional growth.
  • Practice Support: Collaborate with partners and senior leaders to identify technical issues, improve processes, support engagement profitability and contribute to the continued growth of GHJ's international tax practice.
What skills & experience you'll bring to us:
  • Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related equivalent, as well as CPA certification. A Master of Science degree in Taxation, LL.M. or J.D. is highly preferred.
  • Experience Level: 5+ years of relevant public accounting or professional services experience, with a strong background in U.S. international tax compliance.

  • Execution: Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, manage deadlines and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced client-service environment.
  • Commitment: Bring curiosity, accountability and a strong commitment to teamwork, technical excellence and exceptional client service.
