Who are we hiring?
The Director, Global Partnership Sales, is responsible for managing and overseeing the sales partnerships and commercial opportunities for all MSG companies, including MSG Entertainment and MSG Sports. This role will focus on driving revenue through innovative, high-value partnerships while enhancing the MSG brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, new business strategy, media, relationship management and negotiation.
What will you do?
  • Collaborate with Global Partnerships team to work efficiently and effectively on maximizing revenue through strategic marketing solutions and innovative sales and marketing concepts focused on domestic and international partnerships opportunities.
  • In conjunction with the strategy team, analyze market trends to target potential domestic and international partnerships and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as Business Solutions, Data & Analytics, and Partner Success teams to implement and develop strategic sales approach and maximize efficiency in the sales process.
  • Expectation to be out in market and in person meeting with prospects.
  • Enhance corporate revenue by sourcing new business opportunities across multiple categories.
  • Represent MSG at events and properties by regularly attending and hosting clients at games, concerts, and events.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as Events, Marketing, PR, Finance, Legal, etc. to ensure alignment on partnership execution.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?
  • 8+ years direct sales experience and 5+ years as a sales manager.
  • Strong negotiation skills and relationship builder.
  • High knowledge of brand marketing and sponsorship sales, preferably having sold for both traditional and digital-led ad sales with live events (sports, music) experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong cross-functional leader who can partner with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively to maximize productivity.

Special Requirements
  • Required to work event nights, including weekends, based on business need.
