Position Overview 

The Marketing Director, K2 and Line Skis will serve as the head of marketing for K2 and Line Skis within the Elevate Outdoor Collective portfolio. This role will define, develop, and drive brand-enhancing, best in class, marketing strategies for K2 and Line Skis. The Marketing Director, K2 and Line Skis will report to the General Manager, K2 and Line Skis and will play an integral role in driving our brands growth, positioning in the marketplace, and manage meaningful consumer connections globally.  

Responsibilities  

  • Develop and oversee multi-year, annual, and opportunistic marketing strategies, plans, and budgets for K2 and Line Skis, ensuring alignment with brand GM goals and financial targets 

  • Define and own brand identity, positioning, and storytelling in-market, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with global marketing standards  

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, partnerships, events, athlete/ambassador activations) to drive demand and engagement 

  • Define athlete/ambassador marketing strategy 

  • Analyze and oversee analysis of channel and market performance; use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and inform strategy for K2 and Line Skis 

  • Ensure Design departments goals are aligned with the direction of the brands targeted consumers and provide guidance throughout the creative development 

  • Build and achieve annual marketing budget and maximize the return on spends. 

  • Guide performance reporting, attribution modeling, and funnel optimization 

  • Partner with product, sales, and GM to align on launches, calendar, and go-to-market initiatives 

  • Build strong relationships with external agencies and partners to maximize campaign impact 

  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring ROI across all marketing spend 

  • Stay ahead of trends in outdoor sports, lifestyle, and targeted consumer segments  

  • Manage and develop direct reports  

  • Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the marketing team 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field 

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience in consumer goods, sports, or outdoor industries 

  • Demonstrated excellence with integrated marketing and omnichannel strategies (including strong digital expertise) 

  • Experience managing teams across multiple brands and/or diverse geographic regions 

  • Strong analytical skills and ROI-driven decision-making 

  • Ability to lead creative ideation and execution, both internally and with external partners/agencies 

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills 

  • Passion for outdoor sports and lifestyle 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • International market experience 

  • Prior experience working in outdoor sports industry 

  • Prior experience in a similar role 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. 

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. 

  • May be required to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally. 

The Salary Range for this role is: $100,000 -$120,000
