Job Title: Fleet Mechanic

Position Summary

Golden Limousine International is seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of our luxury transportation fleet. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motor coaches, shuttle buses, and fleet vehicles to ensure safe, reliable, and professional operations.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on fleet vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, fuel, cooling, brake, and exhaust systems
  • Complete oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and tune-ups
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct DOT safety inspections and ensure compliance standards are met
  • Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance
  • Maintain accurate electronic maintenance and repair records
  • Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed
  • Assist with body work and minor collision repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
  • Respond to service and repair needs in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of diesel, fleet, or heavy vehicle mechanic experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience working on buses, commercial vehicles, or heavy-duty equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet safety standards
  • Welding and hydraulic experience preferred
  • CDL B with Passenger Endorsement preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and reliability
