Are you ready to take your mining career to the next level in one of the most spectacular locations in the world? Northern Star Mining Services is on the lookout for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter to join our team at the renowned Pogo Gold Mine in Alaska, USA.
Position Details:
  • Job Title: Underground HD Mechanic/Fitter
  • Location: Pogo Operations - Alaska USA
  • Employment Type: Full-time InternationalSecondment, FIFO from any Australian Capital City
  • Roster: 21/21, 12hr days

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilising your skills and knowledge to complete maintenance tasks on underground mobile and associated ancillary equipment
  • Undertake diagnostic, breakdowns, preventative maintenance to a high standard.
  • Complete work in a safe and timely manner.
  • Provide technical advice and support to fellow Maintenance team members.
  • Working with our latest low hour Sandvik and Epiroc Fleet

Qualifications:
  • Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification
  • Minimum 'C' Class unencumbered Manual Drivers License
  • Practical experience working within a heavy-duty environment
  • Excellent fault-finding skills with the ability to carry our preventative and breakdown maintenance
