Job description

Position Title:

Electrician/Mechanic

Pay Rate

$38.28/hr.

Category/Shift

Hourly Full-Time (Monday - Friday)

Physical Location:

Mount Vernon Box Facility

8800 Granville Road

Mount Vernon, OH 43050

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Troubleshoot programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives.  Make necessary repairs to drives and their control system use.

  • Maximum the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.

  • Follow-up all work orders to ensure repairs and work are preformed properly and entered into the maintenance software program. 

  • Plan and schedule maintenance work.   

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. 

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience required.  Experience in a corrugated manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls & drives, mechanical power transmissions, welding & metal fabrication, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting & repair, lift truck safety & repair, and PC literacy. 
  • Must successfully complete a maintenance test, drug screening, and background /employment verification.
