Cardinal Staffing is hiring a Human Resource Assistant for client in Warren, MI. As a Human Resource Assistant for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in:
  • Clerical Duties and Office Support
  • Humen Resources Support
  • Administrative Duties
Cardinal Staffing is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($25.00hr).Available shift is Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Human Resources Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department in daily operations
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence, reports, and documentation
  • Maintain, update, and organize employee files and HR databases (digital and physical)
  • Ensure accurate filing and secure handling of confidential employee information
  • Assist with onboarding documentation, record-keeping, and compliance tracking
  • Answer phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to appropriate HR personnel
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, and HR-related appointments
  • Support recruitment activities, including posting job openings and coordinating candidate communications
  • Prepare copies, scan, fax, and manage document workflows as needed
  • Assist with general office duties to support a smooth and efficient HR function
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources
  • Previous office, clerical, or customer service experience is an asset
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and filing skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, positive, and supportive disposition with a strong commitment to assisting the HR team
