Job description

Position Overview

PLCs Plus International is seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Analyst for the development and deployment of SCADA applications and PLC programming. This will include Control Room Human Machine Interface (HMI), Operator Interface Terminal (OIT), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), SCADA Historians, and Remote Alarm Systems. Please refer to the Required and Desired Skills sections for details.


Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • PLC programming and deployment
  • OIT application development and deployment
  • HMI application development and deployment
  • System commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Project estimating
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with customers and peers in a leadership / supervisory role


Required Skills and Experience:

  • PLC Programming utilizing Rockwell Logix5000 & Logix500
  • OIT application development for Rockwell utilizing FactoryTalkViewME
  • HMI Development utilizing Wonderware System Platform (ArchestrA) 3.1 and InTouch 10.1
  • Ability to provide estimates for services to customers on behalf of the company, as well as obtain change orders when necessary
  • Possess problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills to develop long-range plans to solve complex problems and recommend actions
  • Possess good analytical and communication skills to effectively convey ideas, both written and oral

  • Knowledge of industry standard field protocols and corresponding security requirements, data requirements, data structures, and data flow of control systems to be automated
  • Working knowledge of computer software in engineering and estimating programs, including the use of spreadsheets and work processing systems
  • Must possess a current and valid Driver’s License with a record acceptable to the automobile insurance carrier.
