Job description

Senior Director of Product Management, Fintech

Are you ready to shape the future of financial technology for the trades? As Senior Director of Product Management, Fintech, you’ll lead strategy, execution, and growth for one of ServiceTitan’s most critical and fast‑growing product areas. This is a high‑ownership role for a product leader who thinks like a business owner; someone who connects payments infrastructure to P&L outcomes, structures partnerships with processors and lenders, and builds the cross‑functional alignment that makes complex fintech products actually ship. From day one, you’ll have the autonomy, executive support, and cross‑functional partners to make bold, impactful decisions. Your goal: develop and deliver a suite of financial products; including Money‑In solutions like payments, Tap to Pay, Pay by Bank, and consumer financing, as well as Money‑Out solutions like Payables, Business and Fuel Cards; to empower trade professionals, streamline their operations, and drive revenue growth.

ResponsibilitiesProduct & Business Strategy
  • Own the product roadmap for ServiceTitan’s Fintech suite, balancing near‑term execution with a multi‑year vision for how financial tools transform the trades.
  • Drive the evolution from checks to digital payments; integrating modern payment methods including Tap to Pay and Pay by Bank.
  • Lead strategic decisions on Money‑Out products (Payables, Business and Fuel Cards) using a disciplined build, buy, or partner framework.
  • Analyze performance data, identify growth opportunities, and implement plans to achieve program goals.
Product Development & Execution
  • Lead product teams in building exceptional payments and embedded finance solutions that deliver measurable customer value and drive engagement.
  • Partner closely with Engineering on technical architecture and delivery, maintaining a strong understanding of the systems you’re building on.
  • Define and track success metrics; use data to diagnose performance gaps and course‑correct quickly.
Commercial Partnerships
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key fintech partners; gateways, processors, issuing banks, and lenders; from deal structure through integration and performance.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify, evaluate, and close strategic partnerships that expand product capability and customer reach.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with sophistication, balancing speed to close with long‑term structural flexibility.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Act as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Compliance, and Finance to ensure the Fintech program succeeds.
  • Drive customer acquisition, transaction volume growth, and adoption of new products in partnership with Sales and GTM teams.
  • Build executive alignment and make the investment case for the Fintech roadmap with the senior leadership team.
Compliance, Risk & Reporting
  • Work with Compliance and Legal to ensure all Fintech products meet regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Implement risk management strategies that protect ServiceTitan’s financial health and customer trust.
  • Report portfolio performance to executive leadership with clear insights, trend analysis, and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years leading teams in fintech, payments, or embedded finance in a high‑growth SaaS or technology environment.
  • Deep domain knowledge of the payments ecosystem; gateways, processors, interchange economics, network rules, and the nuances of merchant acquisition in both online and in‑person contexts.
  • Proven track record of managing complex commercial partnerships with financial institutions, processors, or lenders; including negotiating and structuring deals end‑to‑end.
  • Experience owning P&L accountability or operating with GM‑level business ownership; you track revenue levers, margin dynamics, and make resource decisions accordingly.
  • Strong cross‑functional leadership skills; you build alignment across Sales, Ops, Engineering, and Finance without relying on org chart authority.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence; you make the case for investment decisions at the CFO and CTPO level and can simplify complex tradeoffs for any audience.
  • Strategic vision paired with a strong ability to execute in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
  • A genuine passion for the trades and commitment to ServiceTitan’s mission to empower the people who keep the world running.
  • An MBA or advanced degree from a top program is a plus.
