Job Description
Reporting to the International Finance Manager, the International Financial Analyst will work with the international business to report on and monitor trends in performance to inform business decisions, improve accuracy of rolling forecasts, and support the monthly close process. The international analyst will enhance budget vs. actual reporting, support the updating of financial models, and assist in reviewing and communicating monthly financial performance. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual, with an ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of GAAP, strong work ethic, and good communication skills with an ability to work well with others across multiple time zones.
What you'll get to do:
  • Support international financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across regions and stores, delivering clear visibility to results versus budget, forecast, and prior year.
  • Support the existing forecast and budget process, including managing key dates and deliverables and standardizing templates and reporting.
  • Support the implementation of an EPM tool, gathering requirements, testing, and report building.
  • Partner with the international department to develop detailed forecasts and analytics to enhance revenue forecast accuracy.
  • Report on currency conversion impacts and foreign exchange considerations.
  • Establish regular meetings with international stakeholders to communicate monthly results and determine impacts where relevant to rolling forecasts.
  • Support the accounting close by reviewing forecast variances, identifying accruals or adjustments, and ensuring financial results are well understood.
  • Work with the cost accounting team, improve visibility to product profitability and key drivers of margin variances and dilution, using information to improve profitability and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Proactively improve financial models, pro formas, dashboards, and recurring reporting to increase accuracy, automation, and business impact.
  • Use available technologies, including AI tools such as Copilot and Cowork, to streamline analysis and improve productivity.
  • Work with the Finance and Data Analytics team to develop KPI-based dashboards and expand financial reporting, leveraging existing technologies to automate financial reporting.
  • Partner with the business to create pro formas for new store openings across international markets.

Qualifications
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from an accredited university in accounting or finance
  • Certified Public Accountant or MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in consumer goods or another inventory-related field. International business or operations experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills - Advanced analysis and excel skills, and familiarity using and extracting data from various systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking with a natural curiosity to find the answer.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.
  • Familiarity with financial tools (Microsoft D365, Anaplan or other enterprise finance tools) and BI tools (MicroStrategy, Power BI) a plus.
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized, with an ability to maintain multiple versions of forecasts.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills are important, due to the need to work cross functionally in a fast-growing company.
  • Flexible team player that enjoys hands on responsibilities, with an ability to be proactive and self-starter. Ability to work independently and effectively research and solve problems.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.

The salary range for this role is $74,900 per year - $96,285 per year.
