Job description

DESCRIPTION
GreenEarth Cleaning is seeking a Logistics & Distribution Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory flow, and supply chain execution. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations while also managing ordering, forecasting, and process improvements across the warehouse. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and comfortable balancing strategy with execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize supply chain processes including ordering, inventory planning, vendor coordination, and replenishment
  • Develop and maintain operational systems for product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory controls, safety measures, and shipping methods
  • Handle freight and freight negotiations
  • Oversee all warehouse, receiving, storage, and distribution operations
  • Ensure operational efficiency with accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction as top priorities
  • Forecast inventory needs and manage purchase orders to prevent shortages, overstock, and delays
  • Coordinate with both domestic and international vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely inbound and outbound shipments
  • Supervise, train, and manage warehouse staff; set clear goals and performance expectations
  • Schedule and oversee the operations team, managing workflow and quality to maximize productivity
  • Oversee daily activities including quality assurance, inventory accuracy, space utilization, logistics, and shipping/receiving
  • Analyze productivity, costs, and loss prevention metrics; develop actionable improvement plans
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety regulations and internal operational policies
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and scale operations as the business grows

Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, warehouse management, or supply chain roles with direct people management
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory forecasting, purchasing, and vendor relations
  • Experience managing purchase orders, inventory systems, and logistics coordination
  • Proficiency in warehouse operations procedures and safety standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels of the organization
  • Forklift operating license
  • Experience with Katana, Shopify, and QuickBooks highly preferred
  • Experience managing a team with a hands-on approach
