We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMB International Consulting team at Mercer located in Portland, Chicago, Irvine or San Francisco. This role will be based in a hybrid environment, requiring at least three days a week in the office.
As a Senior International Consultant, you will consult with global and multinational organizations on all aspects of their global benefit programs, providing expert advice and support in a dynamic and diverse environment.
What can you expect?
  • International Consultant will consult with global and multinational organizations on all aspects of their global benefit programs.
  • Perform multi-country benefits due diligence for merger and acquisitions projects and provides advice on benefits integration.
  • Advise clients on all aspects of retirement and benefit programs, e.g., accounting, funding, design and investment.

We will count on you to:
  • Perform multi-country benefit audits including comparison with market practice, and present results to client.
  • Act as the "go-to" person for clients on significant multi-country projects. Utilize Mercer's project management tools and processes as appropriate.
  • Identify appropriate Mercer resources globally to respond to specific client requests on international issues. Review deliverables to ensure that they meet client needs.
  • Consolidates and deliver global accounting results to US multinational clients.
  • Develops intellectual capital and new consulting offerings both across geographies and across lines of business.

What you need to have?
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • At least 4 years of Health and Benefits and/or Retirement in a consulting environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $103,700 to $207,400.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
