Your Mission

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the clinic while delivering high-quality, evidence-based healthcare. This role combines advanced clinical practice with operational oversight, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication prescribing within regulatory standards. The Nurse Practitioner ensures compliance with health and safety protocols, manages staff performance, oversees pharmacy and medical supply control, and drives continuous improvement through audits and reporting. Additionally, the position plays a key role in occupational health case management, preventative health programs, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care and well-being.

We are presently staffing for Full-time Nurse Practitioners for one of our industrial client sites near Reno, Nevada. This role is 6 days a week. The shifts are 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday with a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation.

How You'll Contribute

As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll take the lead in delivering exceptional care while managing the day-to-day operations of a high-performing clinic. This is a role where your clinical expertise meets leadership impact:

  • Drive excellence in patient care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients at an advanced practice level, ensuring every interaction reflects best-in-class standards.
  • Prescribe medications confidently within regulatory guidelines, applying evidence-based practice and pharmacology knowledge to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Champion occupational health by managing rehabilitation, therapy, and return-to-work programs in collaboration with ES&H leadership.
  • Ensure compliance and quality through quarterly internal audits, accurate medical record management, and adherence to client procedures and health standards.
  • Lead a dynamic team—manage performance appraisals, address disciplinary matters, and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Oversee clinic operations including pharmacy security, medication control, and implementation of robust operating procedures.
  • Promote health and well-being by implementing jobsite health plans, preventative medicine initiatives, and mental health programs.
  • Monitor and report key metrics—from patient trends and diagnoses to staffing changes and well-being activities—through detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Engage in strategic collaboration by leading meetings, mentoring staff, and building strong healthcare partnerships across the organization.
The Talent We're Looking For

Required Competencies • Understanding of Occupational Health Standards and Regulations

Required Work Experience • Minimum of 3 years experience in emergency medicine, triage and treatment • Occupational/industrial medicine experience (preferred) • Post Graduate Occupational Health qualification or significant experience (preferred)

Required Qualifications • Appropriately licensed, qualified, and registered to practice in the state of Nevada • Be current and certified in Advanced Life Support protocols;

Required Languages • Excellent written and oral English
