Mid-to-Senior Level Trial Attorney to join their Litigation Business Unit in Southern California.
This is a unique opportunity to join an agile, collaborative team focused exclusively on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. Note: Prior warranty law experience is
not required. We are looking for strong trial skills; the subject matter can be taught.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a lead or co-counsel in defending warranty actions for major automotive clients.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including extensive motion practice, depositions, and mediation.
- Conduct trials and arbitrations, including delivering opening statements and closing arguments, and performing witness examinations.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop defense strategies and ensure consistent delivery of outstanding service to clients.
- Draft high-quality legal briefs, pleadings, and reports.
Qualifications- Bar Admission: Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Experience: 5+ years of litigation experience is required.
- Trial Skills: Extensive experience in trial and arbitration is mandatory (openings, closings, witness exams).
- Education: Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional advocacy and negotiation skills, detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong interpersonal communication abilities.
Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 (dependent on experience, qualifications, and market data).
