Position Overview

We're hiring a Digital Support Intelligent Automation Solutions Engineer to design, build, and iterate on practical technology solutions that improve how Customer Technical Success teams work.

This role is the technical builder behind the Digital Support Technology Transformation Team. You will help turn real operational pain points into working tools and workflows that reduce effort, improve consistency, and create better support experiences for employees and customers. Work may range from lightweight internal web-based prototypes to workflow automations that connect tools such as Airtable, Slack, Slackbots, Salesforce, n8n, Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and other Autodesk-approved platforms.

This is a builder role with a solution-architect mindset. The focus is on solving business problems with the right technical approach, whether that means connecting APIs, connecting to business data in Snowflake, integrating MCP-based services or AI tool connectors, automating a handoff, building a small internal UI, creating an AI-assisted workflow, or prototyping a capability that can later scale through the right platform or engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational pain points and translate requirements into pilot-ready automation solutions

  • Rapidly build POCs to test hypotheses, validate feasibility, and iterate based on measurable success criteria and feedback

  • Build production-aware prototypes with reusability, security, maintainability, and future scale in mind

  • Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, AI tool connectors, MCP-based services, and data sources such as Salesforce Service Cloud or Snowflake

  • Build or integrate lightweight internal tools, including web-based prototypes, Slackbots, and workflow automations

  • Troubleshoot and improve pilot reliability by implementing logging, error handling, and basic observability across workflows and integrations

  • Document technical designs, integration patterns, lessons learned, and handoff requirements for solutions that may transition to platform or engineering teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience building automation, integration, or AI-assisted workflow solutions that solve business or operational problems

  • Persistent, proactive builder who is comfortable working through ambiguity, learning unfamiliar systems quickly, and engaging internal experts to unblock progress, understand constraints, and find practical paths forward

  • Proven ability to design and deliver intelligent automation tools, internal applications, or workflow solutions that create measurable business value

  • Experience building Salesforce Service Cloud automations using Salesforce Flow, and integrating Salesforce data into internal tools, workflow automations, or AI-assisted solutions through APIs

  • Hands-on experience building and validating AI-enabled solutions using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, and/or workflow orchestration platforms such as Copilot Studio, n8n, LangGraph, or equivalent tools

  • Experience integrating multiple data or knowledge sources into internal tools, search experiences, Slackbots, or AI-assisted workflows

  • Ability to build lightweight internal UIs for prototypes (e.g., Streamlit, React, TypeScript)

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • API design patterns, authentication flows (OAuth, connected apps), and webhook integrations

  • Understanding data security, identity, entitlements, PII handling, secrets management, and enterprise governance

Preferred Qualification

  • Advanced Power Automate & Power Platform development

  • Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end automations using logs/traces, API error handling, retries, and runbooks for pilots

  • Git-based workflows, basic CI/CD, environment config.

  • Containers (Docker) for quick integrations

  • Event-driven basics (webhooks, queues, retries/idempotency)

  • Knowledge of Power BI for reporting and dashboards

  • Experience with case management or CRM systems (Salesforce Service Cloud ideal)

  • Experience building human-assist support tooling (Examples: Summaries, knowledge suggestions, automated email generation, sentiment analysis, troubleshooting guidance)
