Job Description

Location: Chicago, IL (60604)

Duration: 4-6+ Months

Robust knowledge in the following areas of Murex:

  • FO/MO/BO functionalities
  • Back Office Support - OSP, workflow, payments, accounting, confirmations
  • Front office - Deal entry, simulation, pricing, pretrade rules, understanding of trading products
  • Middle Office - VAR, RISK
  • Creating/editing simulation views/layouts
  • Trade workflows
  • Adding/editing typologies (structures)
  • Importing test cases/configuration changes
  • End of Day (EOD) Processing.
  1. Monitor Murex based support tickets, provide support with all end-user issues, escalate issues to the support manager as needed.
  1. Communicate effectively in non-technical terms with end users to troubleshoot issues and bring to resolution.
  1. Ability to not only diagnose Murex issues but effectively train internal support staff on how to diagnose similar issues going forward.
  1. Contribute to customer and support analyst "how to" documentation, knowledge base articles, and internal troubleshooting guides.
  1. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under time constraints.
