Job SummaryThe Employee Engagement and Communications Coordinator role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of employee engagement programs and company events to foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee experience. This role serves as a bridge between employees, leadership, community partners, and external audiences by executing communication and engagement strategies that strengthen organizational culture, employee experience, and brand reputation. The Coordinator works closely with Human Resources, Operations, and leadership teams to ensure employees remain informed, engaged, recognized, and connected to the organization's mission while helping communicate the organization's impact to external audiences.The ideal candidate is a highly organized project manager, and relationship builder who is passionate about people, culture, and brand visibility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Internal Communications• Support the development and distribution of employee communications including newsletters, announcements, leadership updates, employee spotlights, organizational updates, and special communications.• Manage and maintain internal communication channels, including digital displays,employee communication boards, intranet content, and email campaigns.• Create engaging content that promotes organizational initiatives, company culture,benefits, wellness programs, and employee success stories.• Partner with leadership and Human Resources to support communication oforganizational changes, policies, programs, and employee resources.• Assist in developing communication strategies that improve employee awareness, engagement, and organizational alignment.Employee Engagement and Culture• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives including recognition programs,appreciation events, wellness activities, volunteer opportunities, and culture-building programs.• Support employee onboarding experiences through welcome communications,orientation materials, and employee connection activities.• Assist with employee recognition and milestone programs.• Coordinate employee surveys and engagement feedback efforts and assist withanalyzing results.• Identify opportunities to improve employee experience and workplace culture through engagement initiatives and communication strategies.• Collaborate with Human Resources to support retention, morale, and organizationalculture objectives.Employer Branding and External Communications• Support employer branding initiatives that highlight the organization's culture, mission,values, and employment opportunities.• Develop content for social media platforms, recruitment campaigns, website updates,and marketing materials.• Coordinate employee success stories, community impact stories, awards submissions, and organizational announcements.• Assist with public relations activities, media opportunities, and community outreach efforts.• Ensure brand consistency across internal and external communicationsCommunity Engagement and Events• Coordinate organizational participation in community events, job fairs, volunteer activities, networking events, and workforce development initiatives.• Assist with planning and executing employee and community events, including logistics, scheduling, vendor coordination, registrations, and event promotion.• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, workforce partners, and nonprofit organizations.• Support organizational visibility through community engagement and partnership activities.Content Development and Digital Communications• Support the development of written content for employees and external audiences.• Assist content development initiatives.• Maintain content calendars for employee communications, social media, andengagement activities.• Track communication and engagement metrics to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
