Job Title: Web Developer
Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85255
Duration: 12 Months + Extensions
 
Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Own responsibility for the full life cycle of web development design, development, unit testing, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure proper testing and maintenance.
  • Partner with product, design, and other internal teams to build a performant and user centric website.
  • Embrace and champion the use of web development best practices.
Position Specifications:
  • Degree or certification in Web Development, Digital Programming, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a related skillset.
  • 5-6 Years experience with ReactJS, CSS required.
  • Hands-on experience with NextJS
  • Good working knowledge of Contentful (CMS)
  • Experience with the page performance (core web vitals) for better google search performance
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, CSS-based animations, and related technologies.
  • Own the responsibility for the full life cycle of web development design, development, unit testing, troubleshooting, and implementation
Strong Communication Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively
Cross-Browser & Responsive Development:
  • Strong experience in coding for various browsers and devices to ensure consistent user experience
  • Good knowledge of web layout and usability guidelines and W3C preferred.
  • Keep current with new UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices
  • Ensure that the user interface fulfills accessibility standards, is useable by people with impairments, and adheres to WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.1.
  • Familiarity with CICD tools, Azure DevOps, container technologies like Kubernetes is a plus
  • Good experience in testing web sites and exposure to testing tools
