FORVIA is looking for a year-round Continuous Improvement (FES) Intern for its Location in Columbus, Indiana. Your mission, roles and responsibilities The Continuous Improvement Intern will have duties that will support manufacturing sites in the FES (Faurecia Excellence System) deployment and activities. The main missions of the role are: Establish standards for the Division based on Division Best Practices Develop model line and game concepts Maintain the FES Shareplace and training calendar Coaching and training production employees Update/create standardized work instructions Participating in plant workshops (Hoshin, SMED, OEE) Improving direct labour efficiency by productivity Production lines alignment with Production system standard assessment Your profile and competencies to succeed The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level: Pursing an Engineering Degree preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Skills and competencies: Ability to travel while working internship Strong computer skills, high level organization skills, and good communication skills Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Windows-based software Helpful to have knowledge of Access, visual basic or equivalent Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management Minimum 2.8 GPA Can work year-round What we can do for you At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies
