Location: Remote, with option for in-person occasionally in Boston and New York

OBJECTIVE

We are looking for a Greycroft Public Opportunities Fund Investment Team MBA Intern to join us for a paid fall internship supporting Pete Saperstone, Partner and Portfolio Manager of GPOF.  This Intern will support projects across the full investment process (including producing industry-specific research reports, finding & researching new investment ideas, due diligence on existing holdings, and providing data support for marketing materials). This internship is designed to be 10 to 20 hours per week for 10 weeks.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the Portfolio Manager on developing industry research reports on specific topics across the application layer including within consumer internet, software, and fintech through financial due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memos on new or existing portfolio holdings
  • Drive thematic research work as well as data analysis and other sources to find new equity investment opportunities
  • Join research calls with management teams of existing or potential holdings
  • Partner with Greycroft's Marketing Team and the Portfolio Manager to develop public-facing written content for GPOF

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current first-year and second-year MBA students
  • Preference for background in buy-side or sell-side equity research or investment banking
  • Curious, collaborative, self-starters with demonstrated interest and passion for stocks and the financial markets
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

 

Compensation: $50 per hour/10 hours per week
